We only grow New Zealand’s unique ‘True Lavender’ cultivar – Lavandula angustifolia ‘Avice Hill’. It is one of the rarest lavenders and is highly prized and sort after for its low allergen qualities.

Over 110,000 Lavandula angustifolia ‘Avice Hill’ every summer turn our 20 ha (50 acres) Canterbury farm purple with a spectacular show of flowers. These plants have been carefully nurtured to maximise the quality of their oil via a complex underground watering system, hand-weeding and spray-free environment.
These flowers are the source of NZLavender's specialised pharmaceutical-quality lavender essential oil - known for its soothing, healing, and balancing properties with a soft sweet fragrance.
